Sur le site de la Mairie de Paris elle est dite ancienne Rue de Bagneux mais celle-ci débutait entre les 85 et 87 rue du Cherche-Midi et finissait entre les 104 et 106 rue de Vaugirard. Voie qui fut ouverte vers 1530 sur les terrains de Pierre de Bagneult. Elle est figurée sur le plan d'Albert Jouvin de Rochefort (1672). This route is named by a screeching halt on August 9, 1935, to Jean Ferrandi (1882-1935), lieutenant-colonel, City Councillor. On the site of the City of Paris is called Old Street Bagneux but it started between 85 and 87 rue du Cherche-Midi and ended between 104 and 106 rue de Vaugirard.
