BACK TO MENU Street Férou Férou the street was opened around 1517 on land owned by Stephen Férou, Attorney at Chatelet.  The first section of the street to the intersection with rue du Canivet was rechristened and served  create street Henry de Jouvenel, long and twenty meters with three numbers habitation.Comme  evidenced an ancient inscription on the base of the north tower of the church Saint-Sulpice,  the Rue Ferou extended in the past to the junction with the old street Blind today rue Saint-Sulpice. La rue Férou fut ouverte vers 1517, sur des terrains appartenant à Étienne Férou, procureur au Châtelet.  Le premier tronçon de la rue, jusqu'à l'intersection avec la rue du Canivet, a été débaptisé et a servi à  créer la rue Henry-de-Jouvenel, longue d'une vingtaine de mètres et comptant trois numéros d'habitation.
